A method for manufacturing a titanium separator to be used in a fuel cell. In this method, an oxide film (66) is removed from a surface (21) of a separator material (51) by sputtering. Then, the separator material is heated within a range of 350~C -500~C in a nitriding atmosphere which includes a nitriding gas (55), and a plasma nitriding process is performed to form a titanium nitride film (71) on the surface of the separator material.

Il est prévu un procédé de fabrication d~un séparateur de titane à utiliser dans une cellule électrochimique. Selon ce procédé, on enlève un film d~oxyde (66) d~une surface (21) d~un matériau séparateur (51) par pulvérisation cathodique. Alors, le matériau séparateur est porté à une température comprise entre 350·C et 500·C dans une atmosphère de nitruration qui comprend un gaz de nitruration (55) et un processus de nitrure plasma est réalisé pour constituer un film de nitrure de titane (71) à la surface du matériau séparateur.
