A B S T R A C T A METHOD FOR MARINE SEISMIC EXPLORATION A method for marine seismic exploration, comprising the steps of discharging simultaneously a number of seismic sources (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d) having a determined volume (Vi, i = 1 .... n), said dis- charging resulting in a sum signal having a determined frequency range (fi, i. = 1 .... n), filtering said sum signal; subsequently carrying out the above-mentioned steps a certain number of times for seismic sources having mutually different volumes and subsequently stacking the obtained signals to obtain a final stacked sum signal having a determined frequency range (f1 .... fn).
