The invention relates to a method and device for measuring gaseous substances, in which the method comprises the stages: - ionization of the sample gas in a gas flow (10), - leading of the ionized gas flow through an elongated ion-mobility measuring chamber (12) in the cross-section defined by it, - filtering out (14) of ions from the ionized gas flow at a distance from the measuring electrodes (ex, e2, e3), permitting the passage of only the ions travelling from the flow cross-section at the selected point, - separation of ions (J1-n) with a different ion mobility, with the aid of a transverse static electric field and at least one mea-suring-electrode pair (e1, e2, e3) arranged along the wall of the measuring chamber.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif servant à mesurer des matières gazeuses. Le procédé comporte les étapes consistant à: ioniser un échantillon de gaz dans un flux gazeux (10); faire passer le flux gazeux ionisé à travers une chambre (12) allongée de mesure de la mobilité ionique, dans la section transversale définie par celle-ci; séparer par filtrage (14) les ions du flux gazeux ionisé à une distance des électrodes de mesure (ex, e2, e3), de manière à ne laisser passer que les ions se déplaçant depuis la section transversale du flux au point sélectionné; séparer les ions (J1-n) présentant une mobilité ionique différente au moyen d'un champ électrique statique transversal et d'au moins deux électrodes de mesure (e1, e2, e3) placées le long de la paroi de la chambre de mesure.
