A method for measuring the liquid and gas flow rates (Q L and Q G) of a multiphase fluid stream which comprises: withdrawing a portion of the overall flow rate (Q) under isokinetic conditions, measuring the liquid and gas flow rates (q L, q G) of the withdrawn portion, measuring the pressure drop in correspondence of at least one of the constricted sections located upstream and downstream of the sampling section and calculating said liquid and gas flow rates (Q L, Q G) from the relations Q L = (A1/A2).q L and Q G = (A1/A2).q G, where A1 and A2 are the areas of the constricted section and of the sampling section respectively. There is described an apparatus operating according to this method, comprising a measurement unit (1) coaxial to the conduit (2) with at least a constricted section, sampling probes (24) for withdrawing a portion of flow, a separator (8) of the phases connected to the probes, flow meters located downstream of said separator and pressure meters at the constricted sections.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de mesurer les débits liquide et gazeux (Q¿L? et Q¿G?) d'un courant de fluide polyphasé, ce procédé consistant tout d'abord à prélever une partie du débit total (Q) dans des conditions isocinétiques, puis à mesurer les débits liquide et gazeux (q¿L?, q¿G?) de cette partie prélevée, avant de mesurer la chute de pression par rapport à au moins une des sections restreintes situées en amont et en aval de la section d'échantillonnage, et à calculer les débits liquide et gazeux(Q¿L?, Q¿G?), et ce sur la base des relations Q¿L?=(A¿1?/A¿2?).q¿L? et Q¿G?=(A¿1?/A¿2?).q¿G?, A¿1? et A¿2? représentant respectivement les zones de la section restreinte et de la section de prélèvement. Cette invention concerne également un appareil fonctionnant selon le procédé susmentionné et comprenant une unité de mesure (1), située de manière coaxiale par rapport au conduit (2) avec au moins une section restreinte, des sondes de prélèvement (24) pour une partie du débit liquide, un séparateur (8) de phases connecté à ces sondes, des débitmètres placés en aval de ce séparateur, et enfin des dispositifs de mesure de la pression disposés par rapport aux sections restreintes.
