A method for catalytic ozonization by molecular ozone or by a gas containing ozone for the purification of polluted water, characterized in that ozone is activated by a catalyst that comprises at least cobalt atoms in order to achieve advanced oxidation of the organic pollutants contained in water by transforming the total organic carbon in said water into carbon dioxide.

Procédé d'ozonation catalytique par l'ozone moléculaire ou par un gaz contenant de l'ozone, pour l'épuration d'eaux polluées, caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste à activer l'ozone par un catalyseur constitué au moins d'atomes de cobalt, afin de réaliser l'oxydation avancée des polluants organiques contenus dans les eaux en transformant le Carbone Organique Total des eaux en dioxyde de carbone.
