The invention relates to a mixture to be included in a composition or its semifinished product that is administered to a mammal or gets into contact with a mammal, said composition or its semifinished product containing at least one first effective agent; as well as a possible solvent system with either hydrophobic or hydrophilic nature, selected according to the target of usage; and a possible surface active agent. The mixture is obtained by pulverizing wood or plant material and/or by extracting the possibly pulverized wood or plant material, so that said mixture contains at least two different polyphenolic compounds, selected from among the group: lignans, stilbenes, juvabiones and flavonoids, said mixture also containing oligomers of said polyphenolic compounds; the mixture does not irritate the skin in a so-called single patch test; the cytotoxicity of the polyphenols contained in the mixture is at least 10 times lower with respect to BHT; the mixture has the same effective properties as the effective agent contained in the composition or its semifinished product; and the mixture also has effects for modifying the properties of the first effective agent, or effects for increasing the safety of usage of the first effective agent.
L'invention concerne un mélange destiné à être incorporé dans une composition ou un produit semi-fini à base de cette composition, cette composition ou ce produit semi-fini étant administrés à un mammifère ou venant en contact avec un mammifère. Ladite composition ou ledit produit semi-fini contiennent au moins un premier agent actif, un éventuel système de solvants de nature hydrophobe ou hydrophile, sélectionné en fonction de l'utilisation recherchée, ainsi qu'un éventuel agent tensioactif. Ce mélange est obtenu par pulvérisation d'une matière ligneuse ou végétale et/ou par extraction de la matière ligneuse ou végétale éventuellement pulvérisée de sorte que le mélange contienne au moins deux composés polyphénoliques différents, choisis dans le groupe comprenant les lignanes, les stilbènes, les juvabiones et les flavonoïdes, ledit mélange contenant également des oligomères desdits composés polyphénoliques. Le mélange selon l'invention n'irrite pas la peau lors d'un test épicutané simple. La cytotoxicité des polyphénols contenus dans le mélange est au moins 10 fois inférieure par comparaison avec le BHT. Ce mélange possède les mêmes propriétés actives que l'agent actif contenu dans la composition ou dans le produit semi-fini à base de cette composition et possède également des effets permettant de modifier les propriétés du premier agent actif ou des effets permettant d'augmenter la sécurité d'utilisation du premier agent actif.
