The invention relates to a method for modifying acid group containing polymers by reacting, at temperatures of up to 250 °C, a) polymers that contain polymerized into them at least 5 wt.- % of a monomer that contain monoethylenically unsaturated acid groups, that have a molecular weight ranging between 200 to 100.000 and that are obtainable by radical polymerization of monoethylenically unsaturated acids, optionally in the presence of another monoethylenically unsaturated monomer in an aqueous solution in the presence of at least 4 wt.- %, based on the monomers used for the polymerization, of a water-soluble sulfur composition in which the sulfur has the oxidation number +4, with b) unilaterally end- group terminated polyalkylene glycols, alkylpolyalkyene glycolamines or the mixtures thereof. The invention also relates to the mixtures of at least one of said compounds with up to 30 wt.-- %, based on the mixtures, of ammonia, amines, alcohols, hydroxycarboxylic acids or aminocarboxylic acids.
Procédé de modification de polymères contenant des groupes d'acide par réaction, à des températures allant jusqu'à 250 DEG C, (a) de polymères qui contiennent au moins 5 % en poids d'un monomère monoéthyléniquement insaturé comportant des groupes d'acide et incorporé par polymérisation dans lesdits polymères, qui possèdent des masses molaires allant de 200 à 100.000 et qui peuvent être obtenus par polymérisation radicalaire d'acides monoéthyléniquement insaturés, éventuellement en présence d'autres monomères monoéthyléniquement insaturés, dans une solution aqueuse en présence d'au moins 4 % en poids, par rapport aux monomères utilisés lors de la polymérisation, d'un composé soufré hydrosoluble dans lequel le soufre possèdent le numéro d'oxydation +4, avec (b) des polyalkylèneglycols, des alkylpolyalkylèneglycolamines unilatéralement terminés par des groupes terminaux, ou des mélanges de ces composés, ainsi que des mélanges constitués d'au moins un des deux composés cités et de jusqu'à 30 % en poids sur la base du poids desdits mélanges, d'ammoniac, d'amines, d'alcools, d'acides hydroxycarboxyliques ou d'acides aminocarboxyliques.
