A method of impulse treatment which modifies at least one specified property of a material or object (14), or produces a material or object (14) with at least one specified physical, mechanical or structural property, by adaptively controlling an impulse action upon the material/object is described. An impulse action includes normalized impulses and pauses.The energy of the impulse actions can originate from various sources (1), but the method of the invention is in particular advantageous when the energy of action is initiated and delivered by ultrasonic impact, wherein the energy is applied to any suitable material so that at least one property of the material is modified or produced in order to attain a desired technical effect.
L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'impulsions qui permet de modifier au moins une propriété spécifiée d'une matière ou d'un objet (assemblage soudé) ou de produire une matière ou un objet avec au moins une propriété physique, mécanique ou structurelle spécifique, par commande adaptative d'une action d'impulsion sur ladite matière/ledit objet. Une action d'impulsion comprend des impulsions et des pauses normalisées, à savoir, une alternance adaptative et régulée de périodes d'activation d'impulsions de condition de la matière avec des périodes de détente, lesdites pauses permettant à la matière de récupérer de l'impulsion avant application de la prochaine impulsion sur ladite matière. L'énergie des actions d'impulsions peut provenir de diverses sources, mais le procédé de cette invention est particulièrement avantageux, lorsque l'énergie de l'action est amorcée et distribuée par impact ultrasonore, ladite énergie étant appliquée sur toute matière appropriée, de telle façon qu'au moins une propriété de la matière est modifiée ou produite en vue d'atteindre un effet technique souhaité.
