The invention relates to a method for monitoring a traffic route for a means of transport of a predetermined kind, particularly for an aircraft on a lane at an airport. The method involves noise signals that occur in a section of the traffic route (2) being recorded with a sound pickup means (6,..., 13) and evaluated such that a piece of localization information is ascertained which indicates whether a means of transport (1) of the predetermined kind is in the section of the traffic route (2). If the piece of localization information reveals that a means of transport (1) of the predetermined kind is in the section, the admissibility of the means of transport (1) to be in the section is checked on the basis of one or more prescribed criteria, whereupon an appropriate checking result is output. The method according to the invention is distinguished in that the evaluation of noise signals can be used to achieve reliable localization of means of transport independently of weather conditions. In preferred embodiments, the piece of localization information can also contain the position of the means of transport in space, and it is also possible to obtain movement and/or classification information by evaluating the noise signals.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour surveiller une voie de circulation pour un moyen de transport d'un type prédéterminé, en particulier pour un avion sur une piste d'aéroport. Le procédé consiste à détecter, sur un tronçon de la voie de circulation (2), des signaux de bruit émis, grâce à un moyen de détection acoustique (6,..., 13), et à les analyser de manière à déterminer une information de localisation indiquant si un moyen de transport (1) du type prédéterminé se trouve sur le tronçon de la voie de circulation (2). Dans le cas où l'information de localisation indique qu'un moyen de transport (1) du type prédéterminé se trouve sur le tronçon, on vérifie si le moyen de transport (1) est autorisé à se trouver sur le tronçon, en fonction d'un ou de plusieurs critères prédéfinis, et on obtient un résultat de vérification correspondant. Le procédé selon l'invention se caractérise en ce que l'analyse de signaux de bruit permet une localisation fiable de moyens de transport indépendamment des conditions météorologiques. Dans des modes de réalisation préférés, l'information de localisation inclut également la position spatiale du moyen de transport et l'on peut également obtenir des informations sur le mouvement et/ou la classification, grâce à l'analyse des signaux de bruit.
