The invention relates to a method for monitoring exothermic reactions in a reactor, whereby at least two starting materials react exothermically to give at least one product and at least one gas is present in the reactor under normal operating conditions or on a runaway occurring, comprising the following method steps: A) measurement and recording of a starting temperature and a starting pressure in the reactor, B) calculation of the amounts of products and starting materials present in the reactor from an energy balance, C) calculation of a maximum pressure increase on a step reaction of the amounts of starting materials present, D) calculation of a runaway pressure from the maximum pressure increase as calculated in step C) and the starting pressure as measured and stored in step A).
L'invention concerne un procédé pour surveiller des réactions exothermiques dans un réacteur, au moins deux éduits réagissant de façon exothermique avec au moins un produit et au moins un gaz étant présent dans le réacteur en fonctionnement normal ou lors d'un emballement. Ledit procédé comporte les étapes suivantes : A) mesure et enregistrement d'une température initiale et d'une pression initiale dans le réacteur, B) calcul de la quantité effective de produits et d'éduits dans le réacteur à partir d'un bilan énergétique, C) calcul d'une augmentation de pression maximale apparaissant lors de l'élimination progressive de la quantité effective d'éduits, D) calcul d'une pression d'emballement à partir de l'augmentation de pression maximale calculée à l'étape C) et de la pression initiale mesurée et enregistrée à l'étape A).
