A method for monitoring the viewing of video content transmitted via a first wireless link (70) to a mobile terminal (200), in particular to a mobile telecommunication device, comprises the steps of. within the mobile terminal (200) automatically gathering information relating to the viewing of the video content; forwarding the gathered information to an interface (210) of the mobile terminal (200), the interface (210) allowing for sending data via a second wireless link (50); and transmitting the information to a data collection center (60) via the second wireless link (50). Therefore, the information is directly gathered within the mobile terminal (200), i. e. the integrity of the gathered data is not affected by the video display and audio playback means used. The transmission of the gathered information by means of a wireless link (50) allows for an instant (or short-term) analysis of the data at the data collection center. The monitored user (and therefore its viewing habits) are completely unaffected by the inventive monitoring method.
L'invention porte sur un procédé de surveillance de la visualisation d'un contenu vidéo transmis par une première liaison sans fil (70) à un terminal mobile (200), en particulier à un dispositif de télécommunication mobile, lequel procédé comprend les étapes consistant à : dans le terminal mobile (200), collecter automatiquement des informations concernant la visualisation du contenu vidéo ; transférer les informations collectées à une interface (210) du terminal mobile (200), l'interface (210) permettant un envoi de données par une seconde liaison sans fil (50) ; et transmettre les informations à un centre de collecte de données (60) par la seconde liaison sans fil (50). En conséquence, les informations sont directement collectées dans le terminal mobile (200), c'est-à-dire que l'intégrité des données collectées n'est pas affectée par les moyens d'affichage vidéo et de lecture audio utilisés. La transmission des informations collectées au moyen d'une liaison sans fil (50) permet une analyse instantanée (ou de courte durée) des données au niveau du centre de collecte de données. L'utilisateur surveillé (et en conséquence ses habitudes de visualisation) sont complètement insensibles au procédé de surveillance de l'invention.
