The invention relates to a method for noise reduction for multi-engine propeller-driven aircraft. According to the invention, the characteristic data for the frequency, amplitude and phase of at least two of the propellers (5 to n) will be matched to one another such that the sound fields (10 to k) of the propellers (5 to n) are attenuated or cancelled out completely by interference in the area (PK) of the closest fuselage structure of the aircraft.

L'invention concerne une méthode permettant de réduire le bruit d'un aéronef multimoteur à hélices. Selon l'invention, les données caractéristiques de la fréquence, de l'amplitude et de la phase d'au moins deux des hélices (5 à n) seront accordées l'une à l'autre de façon à atténuer ou à supprimer complètement les champs acoustiques (10 à k) des hélices (5 à n) par interférence dans la zone (PK) de la structure de fuselage la plus rapprochée de l'aéronef.
