Procédé d'observation de l'exécution d'un programme d'application (APP) chargé dans un système informatique, caractérisé en ce que : - on procède, au moyen de capteurs 32 au relevé non- perturbant d'unités d'information concernant le programme en cours d'exécution (APP) et son contexte d'exploitation informatique ; - on mémorise les unités d'information selon une grille préétablie dans une table d'état (TE) incorporée dans une mémoire d'observation (MO) ; - on autorise l'accès à la table d'état (TE), notamment en mode lecture, à des programmes extérieurs au programme observé (SER). L'invention concerne également un dispositif pour mettre en oeuvre le procédé défini ci-dessus.
