The invention concerns a method for obtaining a polyisoprene having a high cis-1,4 chaining, from an isoprene-enriched C5 cut derived from steam cracking of naphta. The inventive method essentially consists in reacting a catalytic system in the presence of said enriched C5 cut, and it consists in using: an isoprene-enriched C5 cut such that the mass fraction of isoprene in said enriched cut ranges between 30 % and 95 %; and a catalytic system based on at least: a conjugated diene monomer, a salt of one or several rare earth metals of an organic phosphonic acid; an alkylation agent consisting of an alkylaluminium corresponding to the formula AIR¿3? or HAIR¿2?; and a halogen donor consisting of an alkylaluminium halide, said salt being suspended in at least a saturated inert hydrocarbon solvent of the aliphatic or alicyclic type included in said catalytic system, and the mol ratio (alkylation agent/rare earth salt) ranging between 1 and 5.

La présente invention concerne un procédé d'obtention d'un polyisoprène présentant un taus élevé d'enchaînements cis-1,4, à partir d'une coupe C5 de vapocraquage de naphta enrichie en isoprène. Le procédé selon l'invention consiste essentiellement à faire réagir un système catalytique en présence de ladite coupe C5 enrichie, et il est tel qu'il consiste à utiliser: * une coupe C5 enrichie en isoprène de telle sorte que la fraction massique d'isoprène dans ladite coupe enrichie appartienne à un domaine allant de 30 % à 95 %, et * un système catalytique à base d'au moins: - un monomère diène conjugué, - un sel d'un ou plusieurs métaux de terre rare d'un acide phosphorique organique, - un agent d'alkylation constitué d'un alkylaluminium répondant à la formule AIR3 ou Hair2, et - un donneur d'halogène constitué d'un halogénure d'alkylaminium, ledit sel étant en suspension dans au moins un solvant hydrocarboné inerte, saturé et de type aliphatique ou alicyclique qui est compris dans ledit système catalytique, et le rapport molaire (agent d'alkylation/sel de terre rare) appartenant à un domaine allant de 1 à 5.
