The invention relates to a method for operating a fuel cell arrangement and to a fuel cell arrangement for carrying out the method. A fuel cell arrangement (1) comprising a number of fuel cells that are located in a protective housing (4) is to be operated with a high degree of operating reliability and a particularly long service life. To this end, at least a proportion of the gas that is located in the inner area (6) enclosed by the protective housing (4)is guided out of the inner area (6) and replaced with fresh gas.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de faire fonctionner un ensemble de piles à combustible et un ensemble de piles à combustible pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé. L'objectif de l'invention est que l'on puisse faire fonctionner un ensemble de piles à combustible (1), comportant une pluralité de piles à combustibles disposées dans un logement protecteur (4), avec une fiabilité de fonctionnement élevée et une longévité particulièrement grande. A cet effet, il est proposé, selon l'invention, qu'au moins une partie du gaz se trouvant dans l'espace intérieur (6) défini par le logement protecteur (4) soit évacuée de cet espace intérieur (6) et remplacée par du gaz frais.
