MRA data is acquired from a large region of interest by translating the patient to successive stations at which successive portions of the three- dimensional MRA data set are acquired. Patient movement is chosen to track a bolus of contrast agent as it passes through the region of interest and a 3D acquisition is performed at a succession of stations. The order and shape in which k-space is sampled differs from station-to-station to achieve maximum image contrast.
On peut acquérir des données relatives à une angiographie par résonance magnétique (MRA) à partir d'une large zone d'intérêt, en plaçant le patient dans plusieurs positions successives, à partir desquelles on peut acquérir différentes parties de l'ensemble de données MRA tridimensionnelles. Ces déplacements du patient sont choisis pour permettre d'extraire un bolus d'un agent de contraste lorsque celui-ci traverse ladite zone d'intérêt, l'acquisition de données tridimensionnelles étant effectuée pour chaque position successive. L'ordre et la forme selon lesquels l'espace de moment est échantillonné diffère selon les différentes positions, de manière à obtenir un contraste d'image maximal.
