A method for providing services in a telecommunication network with the use of USSD channel, comprising of a step of receiving (102), by a terminal device (DT), a call establishment request for a voice connection from an initiating terminal with a recipient's telephone number,- a step of rejecting (108) the call establishment request for the voice connection, if the call establishment request is determined (104, 106) to be a request for USSD based services. In subsequent steps information about the rejected call request is transmitted (110) from the terminal device (DT) to a server (GTW), the information including at least the telephone number of the terminal (OT) initiating the voice connection, and in the following steps the server (GTW) establishes (112) a USSD session and initiates (114) an exchange of messages from the server (GTW) via the USSD channel.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fourniture de services dans un réseau de télécommunications, au moyen d'un canal USSD. Le procédé consiste à recevoir (102), par un terminal (DT), une demande d'établissement de communication vocale avec un numéro de téléphone d'un destinataire, à partir d'un terminal appelant; et à rejeter (108) cette demande d'établissement de communication vocale s'il est déterminé (104, 106) que celle-ci est une demande de services fournis par la voie de l'USSD. Dans une étape suivante, des informations concernant la demande de communication vocale rejetée sont transmises (110) du terminal (DT) au serveur (GTW), ces informations contenant au moins le numéro de téléphone du terminal (OT) qui a démarré la connexion. Dans les étapes suivantes, le serveur (GTW) établit (112) une session USSD et démarre (114) un échange de messages depuis le serveur (GTW), par la voie du canal USSD.
