A method for polymerising or copolymerising propylene in liquid propylene in the presence of a cocatalyst and a solid catalytic component prepared by contacting (a) a solid compound containing magnesium, halogen and transition metal atoms, with (b) an organic aluminium derivative, and (c) a dialkoxysilane of formula R?1¿R?2¿Si(OR?3¿)(OR?4¿), wherein R?3¿ and R?4¿ are hydrocarbon groupings containing 1-12 carbon atoms and preferably methyl or ethyl groupings, and R?1¿ and R?2¿ are hydrocarbon groupings, where one or both of R?1¿ and R?2¿ contains at least three carbon atoms. A novel solid catalytic component for polymerising olefins, and a method for making same, are also disclosed.
La présente demande concerne un procédé de polymérisation ou de copolymérisation du propylène dans le propylène liquide en présence d'un cocatalyseur et d'une composante catalytique solide obtenue par mise en contact de a) un composé solide contenant des atomes de magnésium, d'halogène et de métal de transition; b) un dérivé organique de l'aluminium; c) un dialkoxysilane de formule R1R2Si(OR3)(OR4) dans laquelle R3 et R4 représentent des groupements hydrocarbonés contenant de 1 à 12 atomes de carbone et de préférence des groupements méthyl ou éthyl, R1 et R2 représentent des groupements hydrocarbonés, l'un au moins des groupements R1 et R2 contenant au moins trois atomes de carbone. L'invention concerne également une nouvelle composante catalytique solide pour la polymérisation des oléfines et son procédé de fabrication.
