The present invention provides polymorphisms of ABCG2 polypeptide and polynucleotide coding therefor, which is related to the intracellular accumulation of indolocarbazole compounds, as well as methods for detecting the polymorphisms, comprising collecting a sample from mammals, and determining a polymorphism of the nucleotide sequence of ABCG2 gene or a polymorphism of the amino acid sequence of ABCG2 polypeptide.In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the polymorphism of the nucleotide sequence is one or more of single nucleotide polymorphisms at positions selected from the group consisting of 34, 376 and 421 of SEQ ID NO:1, and the polymorphism of the amino acid sequence is one or more of amino acid polymorphisms at positions consisting of 12, 126, and 141 of SEQ ID NO:2.
La présente invention concerne des polymorphismes d'un polypeptide ABCG2 et un polynucléotide le codant qui est en rapport avec l'accumulation intracellulaire de composés d'indolocarbazole, ainsi que des procédés de détection des polymorphismes consistant à prélever un échantillon à partir de mammifères et déterminer un polymorphisme de la séquence nucléotidique du gène ABCG2 ou un polymorphisme de la séquence d'acides aminés du polypeptide ABCG2. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, le polymorphisme de la séquence nucléotidique est un ou plusieurs des polymorphismes nucléotidiques simples aux positions sélectionnées dans le groupe constitué de 34, 376 et 421 de SEQ ID NO:1, et le polymorphisme de la séquence d'acides aminés constitue un ou plusieurs des polymorphismes d'acides aminés aux positions formées de 12, 126 et 141 de SEQ ID NO:2.
