METHOD FOR PREPARATIVE EXPRESSION OF GENES IN CELL-FREE SYSTEM OF CONJUGATED TRANSCRIPTION/TRANSLATION Abstract A preparative expression of genes is effected in a cell-free system of conjugated transcription/ translation containing, as substrates, aminoacids, ATP, GTP, CTP and UTP with the use of genes as DNA molecules. As a result, formed in the system are the products of expression of the genes incorporating polypeptides, AMP, ADR, GDP, CDP and UDP, pyrophosphate and an inorganic phosphate. During operation of the cell-free system of conjugated transcription/ translation, as the substrates are consumed with the formation of the products, withdrawn from the system are the products of expression of the genes incorpo- rating polypeptides, AMP, ADP, GDP, CDP, UDP, pyro- phosphate and an inorganic phosphate, Simulta- neously added to the system are substrates in the form of aminoacids, ATP, GTP, CTP, UTP to maintain their concentration at the initial level.
