A method for preparing a curing agent composition for epoxy resins is described. In this method an imidazole compound is adducted with epoxy resin in the presence of water. This process is particularly suited for a large scale batch production, and epoxy resin compositions containing these curing agents show a better storage stability.

Procédé de préparation d'une composition d'agent de durcissement pour des résines époxydes. Selon ce procédé, un composé imidazole est mis en réaction d'addition avec une résine époxyde en présence d'eau. Ce procédé est particulièrement adapté à une production par lots à grande échelle, et les compositions de résines époxydes contenant ces agents de durcissement présentent une meilleure stabilité au stockage.
