A method for preparing a magnetically anisotropic solid material from a rare earth- and transition metal-based alloy that is completely liquid at a temperature substantially higher than its melting point, wherein said alloy is optionally cast or moulded to give a shaped part, then solidified by uncontrolled forced or natural cooling in the presence of a continuous static magnetic field.

Procédé d'obtention d'un matériau solide magnétiquement anisotrope dans lequel on part d'un alliage à base de terre rare et de métal de transition entièrement liquide à une température significativement supérieure à son point de fusion, optionnellement on le coule ou le moule pour obtenir une pièce de forme, et on le solidifie par refroidissement naturel ou forcé non contrôlé en présence d'un champ magnétique statique continu.
