A method for preparing mixed vanadium, antimony and iron oxides, and the use thereof as alkane ammoxidation catalysts, are disclosed. According to the method for preparing said mixed oxide, respective vanadium, antimony and iron compounds are dissolved in at least one saturated alcohol or water, the resulting alcoholic or aqueous solution is contacted with an aqueous solution containing an ammonium salt to precipitate out the mixed oxide, and the resulting mixed oxide is separated and calcined.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'oxydes mixtes de vanadium, d'antimoine et de fer, ainsi que leur utilisation comme catalyseurs pour l'ammoxydation des alcanes. Le procédé de préparation d'un oxyde mixte défini précédemment, est caractérisé en ce que: des composés respectifs de vanadium, d'antimoine et de fer sont mis en solution dans au moins un alcool saturé ou dans l'eau; la solution alcoolique ou la solution aqueuse ainsi obtenue est mise en contact avec une solution aqueuse contenant un sel d'ammonium, afin de précipiter l'oxyde mixte; l'oxyde mixte obtenu est séparé et calciné.
