A method for preparing a biologically active silicon compound by hydrolysing a precursor of formula (I), wherein A, B, C, D and X are radicals other than OH, and the bonds between A, B, C and D and the Si atom are covalent bonds of which 2 or 3 can be hydrolysed. Hydrolysis is carried out in a solvent containing a small amount of water, preferably in a proportion of 0.1-5 % relative to the solvent, and at least one of the compounds resulting from the hydrolysed silicon bonds is a so-called stabilising compound which prevents the formation of polymers from the hydrolysed silicon bonds.

Procédé de préparation d'un composé a base de silicium biologiquement actif consistant à hydroliser un précurseur de formule (I), dans laquelle A, B, C, D, et X désignent des radicaux différents de OH, les liaisons de A, B, C, D avec l'atome Si étant des liaisons de covalence et 2 ou 3 de ces liaisons sont hydrolysables. L'hydrolyse est effectuée dans un solvant contenant une faible quantité d'eau dans une proportion par rapport au solvant comprise de préférence entre 0,1 % et 5 %, et au moins un des composés provenant des liaisons hydrolysées du silicium est un composé dit stabilisant empêchant la formation de polymères à partir des liaisons hydrolysées du silicium.
