PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de préparation d'alkylphénates sulfurisés de métaux alcalino- terreux, en particulier de calcium par: - neutralisation d'un alkylphénol sulfurisé par une base alcalino-terreuse (chaux), en présence d'huile, de glycol, d'un alcool de point d'ébullition supérieur à 150°C et d'ions halogénures; - distillation et filtration; - carbonatation puis distilla- tion et filtration. Le produit obtenu peut être utilisé comme additif détergent-dispersant de haute alcalinité pour huiles lubrifiantes.
