The present invention provides a method for preparing mesoporous TiO2 thin films with high antibacterial and photocatalytic activities. The method involves coating onto a substrate a TiO2 sol-gel prepared from hydrolysis and condensation of titanium alkoxide in the presence of a stabilizer and thermally treating the substrate at a temperature ranging from 400~C to 900~C. The TiO2 thin films fabricated according to the present invention show two times higher antibacterial and photocatalytic activities than the conventional TiO2 thin films.
La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant l'élaboration de films minces de TiO¿2? mésoporeux à forte activité photocatalytique et antibactérienne. A cet effet, on applique sur un substrat un sol-gel de TiO¿2? obtenu par hydrolyse et condensation d'alcoxyde de titane en présence d'un stabilisant, puis par traitement thermique du substrat à une température se situant dans une plage allant de 400 ·C à 900 ·C. Les films minces de TiO¿2? obtenus selon l'invention font preuve d'une activité photocatalytique et antibactérienne deux fois plus forte que celle des films minces de TiO¿2? conventionnels.
