A method for preparing a compound of formula (I), wherein R1 and R2, which are the same or different, are a hydrogen atom or an alkyl or alkoxy radical, or R1 and R2, taken together with the carbon atom to which they are attached, form a cycloalkyl radical containing 3-6 carbon atoms. The method comprises dehalogenating a derivative of formula (II), wherein R1 and R2 have the same meanings as in formula (I) and Hal is a chlorine or bromine atom, using 1-2 mol of triethylammonium formate, in the presence of 0.002-0.1 mol of coal-borne palladium per mol of the compound of formula (II), in acetonitrile or tetrahydrofuran and at a temperature between 50 DEG C and the boiling point of the reaction medium.

Procédé de préparation d'un composé de formule (I) dans laquelle R1 et R2, identiques ou différents, représentent un atome d'hydrogène ou un radical alkyle ou alcoxy ou bien R1 et R2 forment avec l'atome de carbone auquel ils sont rattachés un radical cycloalkyl contenant 3 à 6 atomes de carbone consistant à déhalogéner un dérivé de formule (II) dans laquelle R1 et R2 ont les mêmes significations que dans la formule (I) et Hal représente un atome de chlore ou de brome, au moyen de 1 à 2 mole de formiate de triéthylammonium, en présence de 0,002 à 0,1 mole de palladium sur charbon pour une mole de composé de formule (II), au sein de l'acétonitrile ou du tétrahydrofuranne, à une température comprise entre 50 °C et la température d'ébullition du milieu réactionnel.
