In manufacturing an offset printing plate in which a plate image is formed with lipophilic ink droplets by ink-jet printing means, a lipophilic ink having UV-curing characteristic is used, and a UV lamp (7) is additionally provided to a cartridge (8) having a print head (6). The print head (6) performs a mutipath printing by a dot thinning method in the primary and secondary scanning directions. The droplets on the plate (2) immediately after the printing are cured with ultraviolet radiation emitted from the UV lamp (7). During the return of the carriage (8), the droplets are also irradiated with ultraviolet radiation. The droplets are cured every path without superposition of featherings of droplets immediately after the printing, realizing extremely high-accuracy gradation reproducibility. A UV lamp (7) whose output capacity is small can be used, thereby reducing the device cost.

Cette invention a pour objet de fabriquer un support d'impression offset sur lequel une image-planche est formée à l'aide de gouttelettes d'encre lipophile en utilisant un moyen d'impression à jet d'encre, d'une encre lipophile séchant sous UV ainsi que d'une lampe à UV (7) fournie avec le chariot (8) doté d'un tête d'impression (6). Cette tête d'impression (6) procède à une impression par trajets multiples par un procédé de dilution du point au cours de la première et de la deuxième direction de balayage. Les gouttelettes situées sur la planche (2) sont, immédiatement après impression, séchées par émission de rayons ultraviolets diffusés par la lampe à UV (7). Pendant le retour du chariot (8), les gouttelettes sont également passées aux rayons ultraviolets. Ces gouttelettes sont séchées à chaque trajet, sans superposition de bavures de gouttelettes, immédiatement après impression, permettant ainsi une reproductibilité des gradations extrêmement précise. Une lampe à UV (7) à faible capacité de production peut être utilisée, réduisant ainsi le coût de ce dispositif.
