Organophosphines of general formula (R)a(P)(H)3-a (where R is C1 to C20 alkyl, alkenyl, alkaryl, alkynyl or styryl and a is 1, 2, or 3) are produced by (i) reacting a tris(hydroxyorgano)phosphine (THP) with an organic halogen- containing compound; (ii) reacting the product of (i) with a base; (iii) removing aldehydes from the product of (ii) and adding an organic phase, followed by distillation or phase-separation to obtain the desired phosphine.

L'invention concerne des organophosphines correspondant à la formule générale (R)¿a?(P)(H)¿3-a? (dans laquelle R représente un groupe alkyle, alcényle, alcaryle, alcynyle ou styryle, en C¿1?-C¿20?, et a vaut 1, 2, ou 3). On produit ces organophosphines (i) en faisant réagir une tris(hydroxyorgano)phosphine avec des composés contenant un halogénure organique, (ii) en faisant réagir le produit de (i) avec une base, (iii) en enlevant les aldéhydes à partir du produit de (ii) et en ajoutant une phase organique, puis en exécutant une distillation ou une séparation de phases, afin d'obtenir la phosphine recherchée.
