In a process for preparing polybenzoxazole or polybenzothiazole filaments by extruding a polybenzoxazole or polybenzothiazole dope, drawing the dope filament across an air gap, and coagulating the dope filament; the number of filament breaks can be reduced by placing a stress isolation device after extruding but before coagulating the filament.
Dans un procédé pour préparer des filaments de polybenzoxazole ou de polybenzothiazole par extrusion d'une solution à filer de polybenzoxazole ou de polybenzothiazole, étirage du filament de solution dans une lame d'air et coagulation de ce filament, il est possible de réduire le nombre de ruptures de filament en plaçant, en aval de l'extrusion mais en amont de la coagulation du filament, un dispositif de protection contre les contraintes.
