ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a stable anti- biotic susceptibility test material which is prepared by depositing crystals of a .beta.-lactam-type-antibiotic on an absorbent material, said crystals being dispersed in a volatile unreactive non-solvent vehicle, such dispersion being contacted with such absorbent material and the vehicle evaporated therefrom. Said test material is used in a microbiological test procedure.
