A method for preparing substituted triazines includes reacting a phenylazoaniline with a cyanuric halide to produce a (phenylazo) phenylamino- 1,3,5-triazine, which is then reduced to form an aminoanilino-1,3,5-triazine. The aminoanilino-1,3,5-triazine can be alkylated under reducing conditons to produce an N-alkyl-phenylenediamino-1,3,5-triazine such as 2,4,5-tris-[N-alkyl- p-phenylenediamino]-1,3,5-triazine, which is useful as an antiozonant in rubber and other polymer formulations.
Ce procédé de préparation de triazines substituées consiste à faire réagir une phénylazoaniline avec un halogénure de cyanure, pour produire une (phénylazo) phénylamino-1,3,5-triazine, laquelle est ensuite réduite pour former une aminoanilino-1,3,5-triazine. Cette aminoanilino-1,3,5-triazine peut être alkylée dans des conditions réductrices pour former une N-alkyl-phénylènediamino-1,3,5-triazine, telle que 2,4,5-tris-[N-alkyl-p-phénylènediamino]-1,3,5-triazine, laquelle est utile comme agent antiozone dans des formulations à base de caoutchouc et d'autres polymères.
