The invention relates to a method for pressure impregnating wood or wood products with a wood preservative containing vegetable oils, in which method wood is pressure impregnated with a wood preservative containing vegetable oil. It is characteristic of the method according to the invention that, before starting the pressure stage, wood is heated so that at least part of its inner parts heat to a temperature of at least 50°C and that, after the pressure impregnation, vacuum is formed in a space (1) surrounding wood and simultaneously the surface layers of wood are heated to a temperature higher than the boiling point of water for removing wood preservative from the surface layers of wood. The invention also relates to wood or a wood product pressure impregnated in accordance with the method according to the invention.
La présente invention concerne un procédé d'imprégnation sous pression de bois ou de produits en bois avec un conservateur de bois contenant des huiles végétales, le bois subissant ce procédé étant imprégné sous pression d'un conservateur de bois contenant de l'huile végétale. Il est caractéristique du procédé décrit dans l'invention qu'avant de commencer l'étape sous pression, le bois est chauffé afin qu'au moins une partie de ses fibres intérieures chauffe à une température d'au moins 50 °C et que, suite à l'imprégnation sous pression, du vide se forme dans un espace (1) entourant le bois et, simultanément, les couches surfaciques du bois sont chauffées à une température supérieure au point d'ébullition de l'eau afin d'éliminer de ces couches le conservateur. L'invention concerne également du bois ou un produit en bois imprégné sous pression selon le procédé décrit dans l'invention.
