The invention relates to a method for preventing chlorine deposition on the heat- transferring surfaces of a boiler, particularly on the superheater, in which boiler a fuel with a chlorine content, such as a biomass or waste fuel, is burned. And to which steam boiler is fed, preferably in the superheater area, a compound with a sulphate content, which forms a particular reagent to fix alkali compounds . The said compound is ferric (III) sulphate, Fe2 (SO4)3 and/or aluminium (III) sulphate, Al2 (SO4)3 .

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'empêcher le chlore de se déposer sur les surfaces de transfert de chaleur d'une chaudière, notamment sur le surchauffeur, un combustible à teneur en chlore, tel qu'une biomasse ou un combustible résiduaire, étant brûlé dans la chaudière. Un composés à teneur en sulfate, constituant un réactif spécifique permettant de fixer des composés alcalins, est alimenté dans la chaudière, de préférence, dans la zone du surchauffeur. Le composé est un sulfate ferrique (III) Fe2 (SO4)3 et/ou un sulfate d'aluminium (III) Al2 (SO4)3 .
