According to the invention, a method for the prevention of microbial growth in process waters is provided, wherein first a peracid compound, and thereafter a halogenated dialkyl hydantoin are dosed into said process water. Further, according to the invention, a combination for the prevention of microbial growth is provided, said combination comprising compounds to be dosed separately, said compounds being a peracid compound to be dosed first, and a halogenated dialkyl hydantoin to be dosed after the peracid compound, the weight ratio of the peracid compound to the halogenated dialkyl hydantoin being at least 2:1, wherein the amount of the peracid compound is calculated as active agent, while the amount of halogenated dialkyl hydantoin is calculated as active chlorine.
L'invention concerne un procédé servant à empêcher le développement microbien dans des eaux de procédé, caractérisé en ce qu'on ajoute de façon dosée dans ladite eau de procédé d'abord un composé peracide et après cela une dialkylhydantoïne halogénée. En outre, l'invention concerne une combinaison servant à empêcher le développement microbien, ladite combinaison comprenant des composés à ajouter de façon dosée séparément, lesdits composés étant un composé peracide à ajouter de façon dosée en premier et une dialkylhydantoïne halogénée à ajouter de façon dosée après le composé peracide, le rapport du poids du composé peracide sur celui de la dialkylhydantoïne halogénée étant d'au moins 2:1, caractérisée en ce que la quantité du composé peracide est calculée sous forme de quantité d'agent actif, alors que la quantité de la dialkylhydantoïne halogénée est calculée sous forme de la quantité de chlore actif.
