The invention relates to a method for producing a thermoplastic polymer bladder (2) for sealing the gases in a type IV composite reservoir (1), and to a type IV reservoir that can be obtained by said method. The inventive method consists of a step for polymerising a precursor monomer of said thermoplastic polymer into said thermoplastic polymer in a rotating mould which is heated to a working temperature higher than or equal to the melting temperature of the monomer and lower than the melting temperature of the polymer, in such a way as to form the inventive bladder (2) by polymerisation of the monomer, coupled to a rotational moulding, and without the obtained thermoplastic polymer melting.
La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé de fabrication d'une vessie (2) de polymère thermoplastique d'étanchéité aux gaz d'un réservoir (1) composite de type IV, et à un réservoir (1) de type IV susceptible d'être obtenu par ce procédé. Le procédé de l'invention comprend une étape de polymérisation d'un monomère précurseur dudit polymère thermoplastique en ledit polymère thermoplastique dans un moule en rotation chauffé à une température de travail supérieure ou égale à la température de fusion dudit monomère et inférieure à la température de fusion dudit polymère de manière à former ladite vessie (2) par polymérisation dudit monomère couplée à un rotomoulage et sans fusion du polymère thermoplastique obtenu.
