The invention relates to a method for producing a catalyst. A layer consisting of catalytically active metallic material is deposited on a flat substrate by means of electrodeposition, said substrate being immersed in an electrolyte containing the catalytically active metallic material, and an electrical voltage is applied between the substrate and a counter-electrode. A high overvoltage at which a number of nuclei of the metallic material are formed on the substrate is applied between the substrate and the counter-electrode for a predetermined first period of time. The overvoltage is the reduced to a value at which the nuclei that were deposited during the first period grow on the substrate, for a second period of time.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un catalyseur. Ce procédé consiste à déposer une couche de matériau métallique catalytiquement actif par dépôt électrochimique sur un substrat plat, le substrat étant immergé dans un électrolyte contenant le matériau métallique catalytiquement actif. Une tension électrique est appliquée entre le substrat et une contre-électrode. Pendant un premier temps donné, on règle entre le substrat et la contre-électrode une surtension élevée, pour laquelle un grand nombre de germes du matériau métallique se forment sur le substrat. Et pendant un deuxième temps donné, la surtension est ramenée à une valeur à laquelle les germes déposés sur le substrat pendant le prermier temps prolifèrent.
