The purpose of the present invention is to improve the physical and chemical properties of a coating made of various powdered materials and to improve the application process efficiency. This method is characterised in that, before supplying a gas-powder mixture to the acceleration nozzle, said mixture is previously accelerated to a predetermined speed using a gas which is inert relative to the starting powdered material, and further fed into the core of the working-gas acceleration flow. The device includes a pulverisation unit in the form of a supersonic acceleration nozzle comprising a linear section, at its outlet, which turns into a curved-surface section. The device also includes an intermediate supersonic nozzle which is arranged coaxially relative to the acceleration nozzle and is capable of reciprocating movement in the subsonic portion thereof.
Cette invention permet d'améliorer les propriétés physiques et chimiques d'un revêtement qui se compose de divers matériaux en poudre, et permet également d'accroître l'efficacité du processus d'application de ce revêtement. Ce procédé se caractérise en ce qu'avant d'envoyer un mélange de gaz et de poudre dans la buse d'accélération, ledit mélange est préalablement accéléré jusqu'à une vitesse prédéterminée à l'aide d'un gaz qui est inerte par rapport au matériau pulvérulent de départ, puis introduit au coeur du flux accélérateur de gaz de travail. Le dispositif comprend une unité de pulvérisation consistant en une buse d'accélération supersonique qui comprend, à sa sortie, une section linéaire se transformant en section à surface courbe. Ce dispositif comprend également une buse supersonique intermédiaire qui est disposée coaxialement par rapport à la buse d'accélération et qui peut effectuer un mouvement de va-et-vient dans la partie subsonique de cette dernière.
