The present invention relates to a method for producing a correctly folded, biological active recombinant protein or polypeptide, comprising the steps of expression of the protein in prokaryotic cells, harvest of the cells, direct solubilization of the cells in a buffer at pH about 8 to 11 and thereafter dilution with water and a diluent. The protein or polypeptide is preferably GH, IGF-I or IGF-II.

La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé de production d'une protéine ou d'un polypeptide de recombinaison, actif, biologique et correctement replié, ce procédé consistant à exprimer la protéine dans des cellules procaryotiques, prélever les cellules, les solubiliser directement dans un tampon à un pH compris entre environ 8 et 11, puis les diluer avec de l'eau et un diluant. La protéine ou le polypeptide est de préférence GH, IGF-I ou IGF-II.
