Abstract A method of manufacturing a feedingstuff suitable for ruminants by mixing urea, an acid, and molasses with a starchy material, characterized in that urea is dissolved or suspended in a mixture of from 5 to 90 per cent by weight of concentrated acetic acid, from 95 to 10 per cent by weight of molas- ses and from 0 to 50 per cent by weight of water, whereupon the derived low viscosity solution is mixed intimately with a finely divided or ground starchy material in such proportions that the liquid mixture will amount to at most 50 per cent by weight of the total mix.
