The invention relates to a method for laying a floor covering of the type that consists of a flexible material (1) comprising a thermoplastic wear layer made from, in particular, plasticised PVC. The basic panels (1, 1a) that form said covering are glued to the ground and cold welded in between on the site to be covered.The inventive method is characterised in that, after a panel (1) has been positioned and glued to the surface to be covered: a continuous bead of mastic (7), which is made on the actual site by mixing a hardener and a polyurethane resin in aqueous phase, is applied laterally along the entire depth of the covering; the next panel (1a) is positioned on the ground which is covered with adhesive and the lateral edge thereof is pinned against the edge of the preceding panel comprising the bead of mastic (7), thereby causing the excess material to come to the surface; the excess mastic brought to the surface in this way is removed by simply wiping with water.
Procédé de pose d'un revêtement de sol du type constitué par un complexe souple (1), comportant une couche d'usure en matériau thermoplastique, à base de PVC plastifié notamment, les bandes élémentaires (1, 1a) constituant ledit revêtement étant collées sur le sol et soudées à froid entre elles sur le site à équiper. Il se caractérise en ce que, après mise en place et collage d'un lé (1) sur la surface à recouvrir: on applique latéralement, sur toute l'épaisseur du revêtement, un cordon (7) continu de mastic réalisé par un mélange sur le site même d'un durcisseur et d'une résine polyuréthanne en phase aqueuse; on met en place le lé (1a) consécutif sur le sol recouvert de colle et l'on fait plaquer son bord latéral contre le bord du lé précédent comportant le cordon de mastic (7), entraînant le refoulement en surface de l'excédent de matière; on élimine l'excès de mastic ainsi refoulé par simple essuyage à l'eau.
