A method for producing knitted ready-made garments of type waistcoat or jacket, comprising knitting a piece of tricot (10) having a rectangular configuration with two long sides (12, 13), two short sides (11) and at least two fold markings (18, 19, 21, 23, 24). The piece of tricot is folded in at least two places, substantially in parallel with the short sides (11) for forming the back (14) and side parts (15) of the jacket. The remaining parts of the tricot piece at the short sides form a divided front (16) with a substantially V-shaped front neck part. An arm opening is made at each side part of the tricot piece. Each front part (16) is knitted with two or more fold markings (18, 19, 21, 23, 24), of which at least two of these markings (18, 19) extend substantially from the respective long side and meet each other in a vertex (20) at a distance from the short sides (11) of the tricot piece. Each front part (16) is also folded along the fold markings and is joined together to at least double thickness.
Procédé de production de vêtements de confection en tricot de type gilet ou veste, consistant à tricoter une pièce de tricot (10) présentant une configuration rectangulaire comportant deux côtés longs (12, 13), deux côtés courts (11) et au moins deux marques de pli (18, 19, 21, 23, 24). La pièce de tricot est pliée à deux endroits au moins, essentiellement parallèlement aux côtés courts (11) pour former les parties de dos (14) et latérales (15) de la veste. Les parties restantes de la pièce de tricot au niveau des côtés courts forment un devant divisé (16) présentant une partie d'encolure essentiellement en V. Une ouverture pour le bras est créée sur chaque partie latérale de la pièce de tricot. Chaque partie de devant (16) est tricotée avec deux ou plusieurs marques de pli (18, 19, 21, 23, 24), dont au moins deux (18, 19) s'étendent essentiellement à partir du côté long respectif et se rencontrent dans un sommet (20) à une certaine distance des côtés courts (11) de la pièce de tricot. Chaque partie de devant (16) est également pliée le long des marques de pli et est assemblée avec au moins une double épaisseur.
