SO-2-25467M/KK/81 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method for producing a laminated sheath product utilizing a single layer tape and providing good waterproof characteristics. A tape is longitudinally supplied, if desired, with a core, into a forming means which preliminarily shapes the tape to a partial tubular form. The tape is then passed through a die which completes the tubular formation of the tape while applying an adhesive thereto. The adhesive at the die completely fills the area around the overlapping edges of the tape to provide a tight waterproof seal.
