ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Liquid resinous condensation products are produced by contacting furan and formaldehyde in the presence of an acid catalyst while maintaining an excess of furan during the contacting. The method produces liquid resinous condensation products which are useful as binders in the manufacture of composite articles, or as binder modifiers.
