ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention concerns a method for producing a metal from crude platinum or one of its alloys, comprising very fine particles, in dispersed phase form, of at least one refractory oxide, in the proportion of 0.1 to 5°/? by weight with respect to the weight of the said metal, wherein the molten host metallic material containing the said oxide is sprayed on a target by means of a device delivering a jet of pressurized gas.
