The invention relates to a method for producing a polymer. Said method is characterized as follows: a) a mixture (I) containing 6-aminocapronitrile and water is converted into a mixture (II) containing caprolactam, ammonia, water, high boilers and low boilers in the presence of a catalyst; then b) the ammonia is removed from mixture (II) to obtain a mixture (III) containing caprolactam, water, high boilers and low boilers; subsequently c) the water is completely or partially eliminated from mixture (III) to obtain a mixture (IV) containing caprolactam, high boilers and low boilers; and finally d) mixture (IV) is subjected to a polymerization reaction. The invention also relates to a polymer obtained according to said method, to its use in the production of fibres, flat material and moulded bodies that are obtained using a polymer of this type.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour la production d'un polymère, comprenant les étapes suivantes : a) transformation en présence d'un catalyseur d'un mélange (I) contenant du 6-aminocapronitrile et de l'eau en un mélange (II) contenant du caprolactame, de l'ammoniac, de l'eau, des composés à point d'ébullition élevé et des composés à point d'ébullition bas ; b) suppression de l'ammoniac du mélange (II) et obtention d'un mélange (III) contenant du caprolactame, de l'eau, des composés à point d'ébullition élevé et des composés à point d'ébullition bas ; c) suppression partielle ou totale de l'eau du mélange (III) et obtention d'un mélange (IV) contenant du caprolactame, des composés à point d'ébullition élevé et des composés à point d'ébullition bas ; enfin d) réaction de polymérisation du mélange (IV). L'invention concerne également le polymère obtenu selon ce procédé, son utilisation pour la production de fibres, de structures de surface et de corps moulés, ainsi que des fibres, des structures de surface et des corps moulés obtenus par l'utilisation d'un tel polymère.
