A method for producing Ac-225 is presented, wherein Ac-225 is produced by bombardment of Ra-226 with deuterons accelerated in a cyclotron. The deuterons preferably have an incident energy of between 15 and 22 MeV. The method, which allows production of Ac-225 at high yields and purity levels, is particularly interesting in view of Bi-213 generation.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire de l'Ac-225. Selon ce procédé, de l'Ac-225 est produit par bombardement de Ra-226 au moyen de deutérons accélérés dans un cyclotron. De préférence, ces deutérons présentent une énergie incidente comprise entre 15 et 22 MeV. Le procédé selon l'invention, qui permet de produire de l'Ac-225 à haut rendement et à des degrés de pureté élevés, est particulièrement intéressant pour produire du Bi-213.
