A process for producing from a primary or secondary alcohol the corresponding aldehyde or ketone compound at relatively high temperature with a short period of time with high yield, which process comprises the step (1) of reacting a sulfoxide compound with its activator to thereby obtain an activated compound, the step (2) of reacting this activated compound with a primary or secondary alcohol to thereby obtain an alkoxysulfonium salt and the step (3) of reacting this reaction product with a base to thereby obtain an aldehyde or ketone, wherein at least one of these steps, preferably the steps (1) and (2) are carried out with the use of a microreactor.
Processus de production, à partir d'un alcool primaire ou secondaire, d'un composé d'aldéhyde ou de cétone respectivement, à une température relativement élevée sur une courte période de temps avec un rendement important. Ce processus comprend plusieurs étapes : 1) faire réagir un composé de sulfoxyde avec son activateur pour obtenir un composé activé, 2) faire réagir ce composé activé avec un alcool primaire ou secondaire pour obtenir un sel d'alkoxysulfonium, et 3) faire réagir ce produit avec une base pour obtenir de l'aldéhyde ou de la cétone. Au moins une de ces étapes, de préférence l'étape 1 ou l'étape 2, doit s'effectuer à l'aide d'un microréacteur.
