The invention relates to a method for producing compounds of general formula (A) by react-ing an alkali metal hydride with a compound (B) dur-ing which the reaction is carried out in the presence of a catalyst that contains boron, whereby: M represents Li, Na, K, Rb or Cs; E represents B or Al, and; X1, X2, X3, independent of one another, represent a secondary or tertiary alkyl group, which is comprised of 2 to 10 atoms, or represent a phenyl group which itself can be alkyl-substituted or they represent an alkoxy group, and the catalyst, which contains boron, or the conversion product thereof with MH is capable of acting as a hydride transfer agent.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour produire des composés de formule générale (A), selon lequel on met à réagir un hydrure de métal alcalin avec un composé (B) en présence d'un catalyseur contenant du bore, sachant que M est Li, Na, K, Rb ou Cs, et E est B ou Al, et X<1>, X<2>, X<3> sont chacun, indépendamment l'un de l'autre, soit un groupe alkyle secondaire ou tertiaire constitué de 2 à 10 atomes C, soit un groupe phényle, qui peut être substitué par alkyle, soit un groupe alcoxy, et le catalyseur contenant du bore ou son produit de réaction avec MH peut agir en tant qu'agent de transfert d'hydrure.
