ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method for producing ammonia complexes of zinc bis-dithiocarbamates from carbon disulphide, ammonia, an alkylene diamine and zinc oxide. An aqueous mixture of alkylene diamine, carbon disulphide and ammonia, in a molar ratio of 1 : 2 : <2, as opposed to a molar ratio of 1 : 2 : 2 which would be needed to produce the intermediate product ammonium alkylene bis-dithiocarbamate, is reacted with zinc oxide. The complex substances may be used mainly as fungi- cides.
